Bankruptcy Attorney Advertising
Bankruptcy attorney adverising in the Orlando area has certainly increased since the 2008 debt crisis that began afflicting American and Europe. Advertising has included radio programs, bill boards, and television commercials. We can think of big name law firms that have been flooding the airwaves. Of course, there are more basic forms of print advertising as well, whether through flyers, online or even the yellowpages. Orlando firms like Morgan & Morgan are even found advertising on city buses that are decorated completely in their logo (though these are not bankruptcy lawyers).
The question must be raised, does more adveritising necessarily equate to quality of legal services? The answer to this is no. Often, advertising means high caseloads and overhead, which translates into less personalized legal services. Instead, make sure your attorney's caseload is manageable so that he can handle your legal matter effectively and within a reasonable period of time. Also, make sure that he has had some success handling similar matters in the past. If the attorney is relatively inexperienced regarding your kind of legal matter, make sure his services are discounted appropriately and that he has adequate time to learn about how to advance your case. A less experienced but well prepared attorney can be more effective than one who is more experienced and not prepared.
